Held from January 12 to 25 at the COBO Center, the auto show has an extravaganza of world debuts of new cars and vehicle concepts.
In addition to some of the automotive world's most eagerly anticipated new vehicle premieres, visitors can experience the next generation of transportation and check out the most innovative vehicle designs at North America's largest and most prestigious automotive showcase.
Stars of the auto show include the all-new 2016 Chevrolet Volt electric car with extended range, showcasing a sleeker, sportier design that offers 80km of EV (electric vehicle) range.
There was also the world premiere of the 2015 Alfa Romeo 4C Spider, which adds to the Italian brand’s legendary racing history and the exciting experience of open-air motoring.
Meanwhile, the Porsche 911 Targa 4 GTS and Cayenne Turbo S celebrated their world premieres.
Mercedes-AMG is in highly dynamic mood as it enters the 2015 automotive year with the new GLE 63 coupe, while Hyundai revealed its innovative Santa Cruz Crossover Truck concept.
Acura also took the wraps off its highly anticipated next-generation NSX supercar, designed to deliver a groundbreaking "New Sports experience".
