PARIS: For its second appearance at the Paris Motor Show, which runs Oct 1-16, DS Automobiles is treating visitors to a unique immersive video show presenting its latest products and services.
Based on the DS E-Tense concept car, the immersive 360-degree video show presents the new DS "Only You" program of premium services. The DS E-Tense is a sporty electric concept car promising 402hp and 0-100kph acceleration in 4.5 seconds. Unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March, the vehicle has a range of 360km.
As well as showcasing its "Only You" program, DS will present its "Commandes Spéciales" in a worldwide premiere. This special orders service for customer-made DS cars is notably inspired by former bespoke DS models created for stars, politicians and French presidents. Visitors can check out the first in a long line of custom models - the DS 5 Commande Spéciale - at the show.
DS is bringing five current models to its stand at the event: the DS 3 Performance Black Special, a nimble version (208hp) of the new DS 3; a DS 3 Cabrio Sport Chic; a DS 4 Performance Line; a DS 4 Crossback Terre Rouge; and a DS 5 Sport Chic, a glamorous version of the brand's flagship model. The Citroën DS and SM - two iconic and avant-garde models from the brand's early days - will also be on display.
