KUALA LUMPUR: The recent 2016 Shell Advance Power On contest has concluded and saw two motorcycle owners winning the grand prize of an all-expense trip to Japan.

Along with 10 lucky and loyal workshop owners, the two winners - Mohammad Nizam bin Md Omar and Muhamad Iqbal Hibri bin Azilan, were sent to Japan to catch the Japan MotoGP and the fifth round of this season’s Shell Advance Asia Talent Cup (SAATC) motorcycle racing championship at Twin Ring Motegi racetrack.

Nizam, a technician, has been using Shell Advance AX5 motorcycle engine oil for his 125cc Honda Future and was elated with his first-ever major contest win and trip.

“It was my first trip to Japan and the highlight was certainly the visit to the Twin Ring Motegi racetrack. The special VIP pass arranged for us by Shell allowed us to explore nearly all areas of the track during the Japan MotoGP race,” he said.

Fellow Grand Prize winner Muhamad Iqbal, a Kawasaki GTR 1400 owner who just begun using the Shell Advance Ultra with PurePlus Technology, thoroughly enjoyed his VIP treatment over the five-day four-nights trip.

“Thanks to Shell, we were able to experience the excitement of MotoGP on another level, which we would never have been able to do on our own,” said the IT analyst.

The contest also rewarded consolation prize winners with GIVI merchandises such as 10 Monolock boxes, 20 full-face helmets, 30 rainsuits and 50 backpacks.

The contest required participants to purchase selected Shell Advance products and apply the stickers provided as creatively as possible on their motorcycle and upload a captioned picture of it onto Facebook, Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #PowerOnShellAdvance.
