PETALING JAYA: The Hyundai IONIQ  is old news but what is new is that Malaysians will be able to check out the concept car in person at MyAuto Fest 2016.

It will be on display at Hyundai’s booth during the auto carnival from May 20-22 at Mines International Exhibition and Convention Centre (MIECC).

The IONIQ is the world’s first model to offer three electrified powertrains on a single, dedicated vehicle platform namely the IONIQ Hybrid, IONIQ Electric and IONIQ Plug-in. The IONIQ makes low to zero emission mobility accessible to everyone. It also features the latest connectivity and safety
technologies.

The IONIQ was first introduced at the Geneva Motor Show in March.

Other than the IONIQ highlight, Hyundai is offering attractive discounts on various production models. It is giving up to a RM14,000 discount on the Elantra; up to RM12,000 on the Veloster and Sonata; up to RM7,000 on the Santa Fe; and up to RM4,500 on the i10.

The three-day fest is expected to see 20 car brands giving discounts and attractive offers on over 100 car models. Offers at the fest can be in the form of discounts, a subsidy for interest on car loans or even waivers for downpayment.

Admission is free.
