Now, the M Division of BMW has developed a new ''go faster'' X6 M that pushes the performance of the original to a new level.
For a start, the X6 M gets a more powerful heart — a 4.4-litre V8 twin turbo block — with 555bhp or some 150bhp over the original's for a 0-100kph sprint in a blistering 4.7 seconds.

Transmission is a six-speed M Sport automatic type that transmit power to all four wheels with minimal shift lag.
BMW Dynamic Performance Control and BMW xDrive allows the vehicle to achieve particularly impressive levels of agility at any given speed.
Wearing 20-inch wheels and 10mm lower than the regular X6 variant, the X6 M easily evokes a sportier appearance.
Features include Adaptive Drive with electronically adjustable dampers, a self-levelling air suspension installed on the rear axle and modified swaybars.
The driver can also adjust damper tuning in Normal or Sport modes and monitor view power distribution of the xDrive and Dynamic Performance Control systems at the control display.
Interiorwise, M seats and an M leather steering wheel are fitted as standard in the X6 M.
With a thicker rim and ergonomic thumb rests, the X6 M's steering wheel blends perfectly in the driver's hands and it comes in blue, dark blue and red stitching.
The X6 M is priced at RM1,188,800 on-the-road without insurance.
