MUNICH: BMW is producing a limited special edition M Bike and it's getting coated in Marina Bay Blue Metallic - the same as the venerable M5.
Aside from it looking pretty, it is being limited to only 500 units worldwide.
The chassis is a hydroformed aluminium frame, while the fork, seat posts and spacers are made out of carbon fibre and braking power comes from the Shimano BR-M315 disc brakes.
For traction, it uses 28 x 2.0 Continental CruiseCONTACT tyres with 'SafetySystem' - a Kevlar-reinforced, high-strength nylon fabric that's puncture and cut-resistant while providing less rolling resistance to help contribute to a longer lifespan.
The bicycle will cost €1,400 (RM7,100) and will only be made available at selected BMW dealers in Germany, whereas all other bicycle models and related equipment can be had at shop.bmw.com.
