PETALING JAYA: Bookings are now open for the new Suzuki Swift ahead of its launch soon.
The refreshed B-Segment compact car will be available in GA, GL and GLX variants.
Estimated prices (on the road with GST, without insurance) are around RM59,000, 65,000 and RM73,000 respectively.
The model features a restyled bumper design, LED lighting (GLX) and fog lamps, sporty 16-inch alloy rims (GLX) and a splash of the new “Lagoon Turquoise” car colour.
All three versions run on a 1.4-litre petrol engine with a maximum output of 95PS at 6,000rpm and offer a 5.2m minimum turning radius.
Standard Swift features include a 42-litre fuel tank, two airbags, Brake Assist Function and Anti-Lock Braking System with Electronic Braking Distribution System.
According to Suzuki Malaysia Automobile managing director Keiichi Suzuki, the new Swift is positioned as a fun, stylish ride and targets young Malaysian drivers.
Suzuki Malaysia is offering a five-year warranty or warranty up to 150,000km, whichever comes first.
Interested buyers can test-drive the car at the the Suzuki FUN365 roadshows at Sunway Pyramid, Petaling Jaya (June 25-28); Gurney Plaza, Penang (July 2-5); City Square, Johor Baru (July 24-26); Mydin Gong Badak, Kuala Terengganu (July 30- Aug 1); Low Yat Plaza, Kuala Lumpur (Aug 3-9); and Mid Valley Megamall. Kuala Lumpur (Aug 12-16).
