Bookings open for upgraded Toyota Camry and Corolla Altis, no price hike

SHAH ALAM: The Toyota Camry and Corolla Altis have been upgraded and are now available for booking.

Both models are offered with a wider range of optional accessories this time, which can be specified at the time of ordering the cars. Prices remain unchanged. The Camry and Corolla Altis are retailed from RM148,600 and from RM117,400 (on-the-road without insurance) respectively.

The improvements to the Camry are new trim materials with all four variants having upgraded carbon wood trim with brown stitching on the dashboard.

The Camry 2.5HV Luxury additionally offers new Kogane leather seats ("kogane" means gold in Japanese) with the following optional accessories — USB charging ports and auto-fold wing mirrors, are available for all variants. For selected variants, a Panoramic View Monitor (PVM) is available.

Corolla Altis


In the mid-size segment, the Corolla Altis comes with additional optional accessories that improve convenience.

The available optional accessories are two USB charging ports. Also available are auto-fold door mirrors which automatically fold when the vehicle is locked by remote (optional for Corolla Altis 1.8E only). For all three variants, the illuminated scuff plates on the front and rear doors can be specified.

The Digital Video Recorder (DVR) is an optional item, useful in documenting accidents. PVM is also offered as an option to Corolla Altis buyers.

The upgraded cars will be available for test drives at all Toyota showrooms nationwide from Sept 15.
