The Italjet 125 is catered to the younger generation who are passionate about riding and wants to have some fun at the same time.
"The designer of the CMC Italjet 125, Alessandro Tartarini, worked on numerous styling options before coming up with a design that is futuristic, innovative and sporty. A design that becomes art in motion, " said Chear Global Sdn Bhd chief operating officer, Leong King Choon.
Also present at the launch which was held at Sunway Pyramid were Chear Motor Sdn Bhd Managing Director Datuk Chear Kin Keong; Mofaz Senior Vice President Datuk Nik Izani Nik Ibrahim; and Chear Global Sdn Bhd Executive Director Peter Gan.

As the name suggests, the Italjet 125 features a 125cc, four stroke, single cylinder engine mated to an automatic transmission which outputs 8.85hp at 8,000rpm and 8.6Nm of torque at 6,000rpm.
Other features include a generous under-seat storage space which is big enough to fit a full face helmet. It comes with front and rear disc brakes as well as Integrated LED front and taillights, an electric starter unit, a large and an amber-illuminated multi-info digital display screen.
Mofaz Motosikal Sdn Bhd, Chear Global's business partner, is assembling the bike locally and the scooter is due at showrooms in the coming weeks.
The CMC Italjet 125 is priced at RM6,996 (inclusive of GST) and comes in two colour choices: Chili Red and Sporty White.
