KUALA LUMPUR: Chevron Malaysia has introduced the Techron Concentrate Plus fuel system cleaner that is formulated to remove power-robbing deposit build-ups in engines.

“Designed as a convenient and simple pour-in solution, a pack of 355ml Techcron Concentrate Plus is enough to treat a full tank of petrol and helps the engine regain their performance, fuel efficiency and reduce emissions,” said Chevron Malaysia country chairman Jeremy Oh at the launch on Monday.



Malaysia is among the first few markets in Southeast Asia to offer Techron Concentrate Plus as addition to Caltex’s patented Techron additive in Caltex fuels to keep engines running clean and at optimal performance.

Aside from cleaning the fuel system, the repeated usage of Techron Concentrate Plus also prevents new build-ups from occurring.

Chevron Lubricants Asia Pacific marketing manager Lennard Kwek said older vehicles are prone to deposit build-ups in their engines.

“The use of lower quality fuels can leave harmful deposits in the engine that accumulate over time, causing the vehicle to stumble during acceleration, knock or lose power, especially for older vehicles,” he said.

Techron Concentrate Plus is available in selected Caltex service stations and is offered at a promotional price of RM35 per pack until Aug 31.
