PETALING JAYA: Eagle i, has introduced its latest range of car video recorders (CVRs) allowing motorists the ability to provide irrefutable proof of the goings-on during commutes, with prices starting from as low as RM88.

O&G 8lectricals (M) Sdn Bhd, the distributor of CVR brand Eagle i, has launched four new camera models with a complimentary 8Gb micro-SD card, starting with the range-topping EG-6019 costing at RM458 – now at a promotional price of RM428.

The range continues with the EG-6018 at RM328 (now RM298), the EG-6008 at RM228 (now RM198) and finally the EG-218 at RM118 (now 88).

The EG-6019 comes with a 5.0-inch HD LCD screen, a built-in microphone and dual cameras for 1080p full HD records for both front and rear views and includes parking mode as well as video playback capabilities.

Next in line is the EG-6018, which sports a smaller 4.3-inch screen and comes equipped with a front-facing wide-angle camera and has 4 x digital zoom capability as well as six infrared LED lamps for improved low-light recordings.

The EG-6008 has a smaller 2.7-inch HD LCD screen and records in 720p resolution and has motion detection function, as well as a screen saver.

Lastly, the entry-level EG-218 has a 2.5-inch TFT LCD screen, a built-in microphone for audio recordings, can be repositioned up to 270-degrees and records in VGA-image resolution - up to 720p, via a wide-angle lens

All Eagle i CVR models can also be used as digital cameras.

A user-friendly mobile app has been developed by O&G for vehicle owners to register and receive a 12-month e-warranty via App Store and Google Play.

Other features of the app include a shop locator, product information and the company’s latest promotions.
