The Ford 24-Hour Challenge was held to showcase the "Built Ford Tough" credentials of the Ranger.

At The Port in Ipoh, the Ranger demonstrated its towing capability by pulling down a brick wall.

The Ranger's unbeatable 3,500kg towing capacity with Trailer Sway Control made the task looked simple as it tackled the one-story high solid brick wall.

Up north in Penang, the Ranger once again demonstrated its tough capabilities when the team loaded the Ranger's bed with heavy loads of drinks to be distributed to a crowd.

The Ranger has exceptional payload capacity of up to 1,200kg.

After 22 hours of non-stop challenges, the Ranger arrived at Ulu Tamu, Batang Kali where it tackled the rugged terrains of narrow potholed roads and crossed deep river waters.

With the Ranger's smart design, vehicle's key components remained dry while air intake was protected with its best-in-class water-wading of  up to 800mm.

"At Ford, we are always looking at exciting ways to showcase our world-class vehicles," said Veemala Rethinasamy, sales and marketing director, Ford Malaysia.

"The Ranger offers best-in-class safety features and technology, including a 5-star NCAP crash-test rating."
