PETALING JAYA: Petrol and diesel prices are going up from tomorrow.

The price of RON95 and RON97 petrol will rise 4 sen each to RM2.20 per litre and RM2.48 respectively.

Diesel will go up by 1 sen to RM2.05 per litre from RM2.01 per litre previously.
The prices, which were announced on RTM1 on Wednesday evening, will be in effect from 12.01 am on Sept 7-13.

The weekly fuel pricing mechanism came into effect in April this year, and the prices of petrol and diesel had been placed on a managed monthly float system since Dec 1, 2014 following the removal of fuel subsidies.
