PETALING JAYA: Petrol and diesel prices are going up from tomorrow.

The price of RON95 and RON97 petrol will rise 1 sen each to RM2.16 per litre and RM2.44 respectively.

Diesel will go up by three sen to RM2.04 per litre from RM2.01 per litre previously.

The prices, which were announced on RTM1 on Wednesday evening, will be in effect from 12.01 am on Aug 31 until Sept 6.

The weekly fuel pricing mechanism came into effect in April this year, and the prices of petrol and diesel had been placed on a managed monthly float system since Dec 1, 2014 following the removal of fuel subsidies.
