PETALING JAYA: Fuel prices will go up across the board after five weeks of declining prices.
RON95 will be priced at RM1.93 per litre (+ 4 sen), RON97 at RM2.19 (+ 4 sen) and diesel at RM1.91 (+ 7 sen).
This was announced on RTM1 and posted on the Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry's Twitter account on Wednesday evening. The prices are valid from July 6-12.
The weekly fuel pricing mechanism came into effect in April this year.
Prices of petrol and diesel had been placed on a managed monthly float system since Dec 1, 2014 following the removal of fuel subsidies.
