KUALA LUMPUR: Honda Malaysia Sdn Bhd today launched a RM19 million sales, service and spare parts (3S) Centre in Semenyih, Selangor, with 14 service bays to accommodate up to 30 cars daily.

It said in a statement that the centre, managed by SAG Ultimate Sdn Bhd, had a total built-up area of 22,000 square feet and spread over about 61,000 square feet of land.

Managing director and chief executive officer Yoiciro Ueno said the new facility is designed to offer a comfortable and conducive atmosphere for customers.

SAG Ultimate is the first Honda dealer based on the company's new dealership facility programme to enhance the operation standards for all dealerships.

From January to October this year, Honda Malaysia sold 74,920 units, translating to a 19 per cent jump compared to the same period last year, reinforcing its top position in the non-national car segment.

With 86 dealers to date, the Japanese car maker is optimistic of achieving its target of 90 by 2016.
