BANGKOK: Honda Thailand has introduced the facelifted Brio hatch and Brio Amaze sedan.
A refreshed interior and exterior added to these versions give a sleeker look coupled with a range of advanced technology that promises better comfort and safety.
The new Brio and Brio Amaze have spruced–up, sleeker exteriors, complemented by a redesigned front grille, an all-new sportier front bumper, and new alloy wheels. The revamped interior features a new console, Steering Audio Switch, Auto-air Conditioner system, Bluetooth Connector, and a USB Connector to create a premium feel.
Features added to the Brio Amaze include projector head lights with led position, front fog lights and a sport-design rear spoiler. It also comes with Multi Information Display (MID), Honda Smart Key System, and One Push Start Ignition. All variants are equipped with safety features including an intelligent i-SRS for the driver and a SRS airbag system for the passenger, an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD), and an alarm security system.
As eco-cars, the Brio and Brio Amaze, are powered by a 1.2 litre, 4-cylinder, 16-valve, 90-hp SOHC i-VTEC engine, with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) which is part of “Earth Dreams Technology” that adds some measure of agility to high fuel efficiency.
The Brio V CVT is priced at 495,000 baht (RM56,000) and the Brio Amaze is available in two variants, which are the V CVT, priced at 517,000 baht (RM59,000), and the SV CVT, priced at 577,000 baht (RM66,000). The Brio and Brio Amaze come in three colours including Crystal Black Pearl, White Taffeta, and a new Lunar Silver Metallic colour.
To push sales, Honda is offering Thai customers a special interest rate on their car loans. Customers will receive free maintenance checks and spare parts from 10,000km to 50,000km.
