PETALING JAYA: Honda Malaysia hopes to sell 1,500 units of the HR-V a month following some cosmetic updates to the compact SUV.

The HR-V is now offered with a Dark Ruby Red Pearl, which is also available  in the City. The existing colours are Taffeta White, Modern Steel Metallic and Ruse Black Metallic.  As part of the updates, the HR-V also gets a new 17” wheel design for all three variants. In addition, a "rear shelf" is offered as an optional accessory priced at RM550.

"The Dark Ruby Red Pearl colour blends well with the stylish design and smart features of the HR-V," said Honda Malaysia managing director and chief executive officer Katsuto Hayashi. "I believe that it will appeal to young executives and young families who seek a more vibrant and lifestyle looking compact SUV."
