PETALING JAYA: Jaguar Land Rover Malaysia, the official distributor of both brands has set up a Terrapod mobile track to feature the capabilities of the all-new Land Rover Discovery Sport mid-size luxury SUV.

The event is being held at the ground floor fore court of the 1 Utama Shopping centre's old wing outdoor carpark from 11.00am to 9.00pm.

The track has been designed with steep slopes and inclines for the SUV to show its all-terrain abilities at the touch of a button that transforms it into a sprawling "off-roader".

The Discovery Sport is expected to replace the Freelander shares the same uni-body construction as the and Range Rover Evoque and will feature two engine variants - a 237bhp 2.0-litre petrol and 187bhp 2.2-litre turbodiesel.

Furthermore, it will come with a choice of a two and four-wheel drive as well as a nine-speed automatic or six-speed  manual transmission.
