SHAH ALAM: Lexus Malaysia has replaced the IS 250 with a turbocharged 200t variant.
The replacement variant has a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine, complemented with the 8-speed Sports Direct Shift automatic transmission.
With today's announcement, the IS model is now available in four versions - IS 200t Premium, IS 200t Luxury, IS 200t F SPORT and IS 300h.

The IS 300h hybrid now comes with an 8-year hybrid battery assurance programme, on top of the 3 years or 100,000km standard warranty, whichever comes first.
Safety has also been improved. There are now 10 airbags (previously eight) and the addition of a Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross Traffic Alert for the Luxury, F SPORT and Hybrid variants.
Prices of the new Lexus IS are; RM298,000 for IS 200t Premium; RM350,000 for Lexus IS 200t Luxury, RM385,000 for Lexus IS 200t F SPORT; and RM452,000for the Hybrid version. The IS comes in a choice of seven colours.
It is now available at Lexus dealerships nationwide.
