MODENA: Maserati is equipping its luxury Ghibli sedan with more advanced driver assistance features and a large touch-screen in the cockpit with smartphone integration and Apple CarPlay.
The upgrades will result in price rises of a few hundred dollars, with the executive saloon starting at around US$70,000, according to the Italian car maker.
The new Ghibli will offer proximity sensors, an automatic collision-avoidance system as well as front and rear cameras.
There are only minor changes to the engine, with the 3.0-litre basic petrol version putting out an extra 20hp for a total of 350hp, taking the top speed to 267kph.
