KUALA LUMPUR: Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia has introduced the limited edition Mitsubishi ASX Orange Edition today.

With a limited run of 180 units only, the limited edition 4WD ASX is being priced with GST without insurance at RM132,900.19 and comes with a five-year warranty package for the locally-assembled compact sport utility vehicle (SUV).

And in conjunction with the company's Raya promotion, there's also cash rebates of up to RM8,000 for bookings and registrations made before July 31.

For the sake of comparison, the 2WD ASX is similarly priced at RM115,468.71, while the 4WD costs RM129,010.43.

The limited edition ASX is only available in white with orange accents on the undercover, rear spoiler and side mirrors, before adding door visors, 17-inch matte black alloy wheels and ‘Spirit of Competition’ decals.

 

Inside, the cabin adds new scuff plates and carbon fibre trim, while the leather seats and floor mats are accented in orange.

Also, an All Round Monitor has been add as standard and includes four externally-mounted cameras that provide a bird’s eye view of the vehicle for improved all-round visibility.

 

Under the hood, a familiar 2.0-litre MIVEC engine with 150PS and 197Nm of torque resides, while mated to a continuous variable transmission (CVT) which offers Sports Mode.

Regardless of variant, standard equipment for the ASX includes keyless entry with push-start button, cruise control, paddle shifters, automatic air conditioning, coloured multi-info display, auto retractable side mirrors, seven-airbags, anti-lock braking system and electronic brakeforce distribution.

As for the 4WD variant, it adds Mitsubishi’s all-wheel-control 4WD system, active stability control, traction control, and hill start assist.
