The Triton, a key selling model for Mitsubishi in Malaysia, should help boost sales for dealers.
GEORGE TOWN: EON Auto Mart Sdn Bhd, a member of the DRB-Hicom Group of companies and Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia, have launched a new Mitsubishi 3S centre in Bayan Lepas, near here, today.
Head of Automotive Distribution and Manufacturing & Engineering of DRB-Hicom Bhd Rohime Shafie said the 3S centre would cater to nearby residential townships such as Bayan Baru and Bukit Jambul to the north, and Batu Maung to the southeast.
"This centre aims to provide top-class service for Mitsubishi owners and to better serve our growing customer base," he said in his speech at the opening of the 3S centre.
Rohime said the 3S centre would also set the benchmark for further improvements within its network, both in sales as well as after-sales services.
Covering a built-up area of 1,199 sq meters, the 3S centre has six service bays, a washing bay and a reception area, as well as a showroom that is able to showcase five vehicles alongside a customer lounge.
EON Auto Mart Sdn Bhd chief operating officer Shamsul Haq Md Noh told a press conference the company is targeting eventual sales of about 25 units monthly.
