LOS ANGELES: Lexus is set to introduce the all-new 2016 RX at the 2015 New York International Auto Show.

When the RX model launched 17 years ago, it defined a new luxury segment. Since then, it has dominated mid-size luxury utility vehicle sales.
The fourth generation RX will make its global debut on April 1.
Like the current RX, expect the new one to include a hybrid and a more aggressive-looking F Sport variant.
Lexus rolled out an even smaller SUV last year, the NX, which is aimed at tapping into the red-hot demand for compact SUVs in many parts of the world including in Malaysia. The NX was also the first Lexus model to be turbocharged and it certainly won;t be the last.
