SHAH ALAM: UMW Toyota Motor Sdn Bhd has added a new section to its website that enables Toyota owners to easily check if their vehicles are involved in a recall.
Owners are advised to visit the Toyota Malaysia link and follow the instructions to fix their cars if necessary.
The Toyota distributor said the new link was a way to improve its reach as some vehicles may have changed ownership and further recalls may not have reached the current owners.
UMW Toyota Motor urges Toyota car owners to periodically visit the link and act on any recalls affecting their cars.
