Proton offers free car inspection

KUALA LUMPUR: Proton will offer a free 30-point inspection to all national car owners from July 9-15 as part of its initiative to promote vehicle safety awareness during the festive season.

"Customers can enjoy this free inspection at all Proton authorised service centres, nationwide, and selected Petronas petrol stations between 3pm and 7pm during the one-week duration.

The free 30-point check includes inspection of fluid level, battery, pedal operation, fuel and the brake system.

Customers would also enjoy free consultation on engine and car maintenance, Proton added.

Chief executive Datuk Abdul Harith Abdullah said Proton has taken upon itself the responsibility to educate and promote safety awareness to users, especially in supporting the government's call to reduce road accidents during festive season and school holidays.
