KUALA LUMPUR: Sisma Auto, which is known for its two luxury British brands, is adding a third iconic brand to its portfolio, Swedish icon, Volvo.
The company has been appointed as an authorised dealer by Volvo Car Malaysia Sdn Bhd.
“Sisma Auto has an excellent track-record of managing luxury brands and with their inclusion into the Volvo Cars family, we will be able to meet the growing demand for our brand,” said Lennart Stegland, managing director of Volvo Car Malaysia.
Sisma Auto will be transforming its city showroom at Menara Worldwide, Jalan Bukit Bintang, into a Volvo showroom which is due to officially open in October this year.
Car owners who reside or work in the vicinity can enjoy a premium ownership experience as the new Volvo city showroom will offer Sisma Auto’s Concierge Service, which offers exclusive home or office vehicle pick-up and drop-off.
Sisma Auto’s off-site Volvo service centre will offer the complete range of aftersales services.
In conjunction with the opening of the new showroom, customers who purchase any new Volvo model from Sisma Auto would stand a chance to win an all-expense paid trip to Sweden.
Sisma Auto managing director, Syed Khalil Syed Ibrahim said that the company was thrilled to welcome another premium Continental car brand into its fold.
“We are looking forward to working with Volvo, which has an exciting range of new models at very competitive prices that meet the needs of the Malaysian market,” he said.
Syed Khalil said that the company was still very much committed to building the Jaguar Land Rover brand in Malaysia in the long term.
Sisma Auto will continue to operate its Jaguar Land Rover branches in Glenmarie, and Penang to serve its loyal customers.
