SHAH ALAM: UMW Toyota has announced its latest offering, effective immediately, for its Vios and Hilux models that will be fitted with optional extras without the incurring a price hike.

For the Toyota Vios, 1.5 TRD Sportivo and 1.5G, it will now include a seven-inch touchscreen DVD Audio-Video-Navigation (AVN) infotainment system.

Additionally it has HDI, USB and AUX ports as well as a reverse camera, bluetooth connectivity, Miracast and the ability to recognize hand and air gestures as well as voice commands.

Furthermore, it is able to connect to the internet via a mobile device’s data connection and installed at UMW Toyota Motor’s Accessories Centre prior to delivery.

Adding to the list of extras, the company has included the Vios 1.5E and 1.5J variants to receive JPJ-compliant multi-layer inorganic oxidised nano-material solar (99% infrared rejection) and security tint as standard.

Those looking to purchase the Toyota Hilux TRD Sportivo and G variants will receive a Value Package at no extra cost, which includes parts such as the same Infotainment System with a reverse camera fitted in the Vios.

Externally, it gets a stainless steel sports bar (can be purchased separately at RM2,500), hood protector, red stripes and a carbon fibre wrap on the B-pillars for a sporty touch.
