Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia managing director Erik Winter said the Tiguan Highline was well-received by Malaysians but the Comfortline has also caught the eyes of those looking for quality, value-for-money German engineering. The model is locally assembled at Volkswagen's plant in Pekan, Pahang.

The Tiguan is Volkswagen’s most successful SUV, with 2.8 million units of the model already sold globally.

The SUV comes with five years’ manufacturer’s warranty and five years’ roadside assistance. For a limited period, the App Connect function is complimentary in the Tiguan Highline.
