LONDON: The largest independent consumer organisation in Europe, Which?, has awarded this year’s prestigious ‘Best Car Manufacturer’ title to Volkswagen UK.
The trophy was presented to the German brand, after being short-listed for it earlier this year.
The award recognises the brand as a ‘stand-out choice’ in the final judging.
According to the organisation, Volkswagen cars are considered ‘Best Buys’ after having tested three new vehicles over the past year.
And it noted that the German brand has become a popular one with owners, scoring well in an annual customer satisfaction survey.
The vehicles available from Volkswagen UK include the up! city car, Polo, Beetle, Golf, Scirocco, Jetta, Passat, Volkswagen CC, Touran, Sharan, Tiguan as well as station wagons, cabriolets, coupes and plug-in hybrids.
Volkswagen says that their staff and current network of almost 200 Retailers are committed to providing the highest levels of service, from the moment a potential customer visits their website, through to their retail and ownership journeys to repurchase and beyond.
