PETALING JAYA: YHI (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, the local distributor of Yokohama tyres, has launched the new BluEarth-Es ES32 tyre which promises reduced fuel consumption and longer service life with the benefits of improved dry and wet handling.
The new tyre is aimed at small to large passenger cars from all makes. The ES32 is available in 73 sizes from 13- to 18-inches and profiles of 70 to 40.
The tyre uses Yokohama’s “nano Blend” compound that reduces rolling resistance for fuel savings while increasing grip on tarmac.
The compound also has “Orange oil” formulation that increases contact surface between tyre and road. It also uses an anti-oxidising agent for better tyre flexibility.
The ES32 incorporates lightning-designed central grooves for better straightline stability, wet braking and handling.
The tyre also gets two wide side grooves to channel out water quickly to reduce aquaplaning and large shoulder blocks for stability and resistance against uneven wear.
The recommended retail price ranges from RM160 to RM600.
