Built with jam-safe sensors to prevent jamming, the tailgate will move in the reverse direction automatically and stop in the event an obstruction is in the tailgate’s path.
This is a factory-fitted feature that is available on all CX-5 variants except the base 2.0-litre GL petrol CX-5 priced from RM132,389.59 (OTR without insurance).
Prices for other CX-5 variants are: 2.0L (GLS) from RM148,214.45; 2.5L from RM160,004.00; and 2.2L from RM164,693.85 (OTR without insurance) inclusive of the new powered tailgate.
They are available in eight colour choices; Soul Red Crystal, Machine Grey, Snowflake White Pearl, Deep Crystal Blue, Sonic Silver, Meteor Grey, Jet Black and Arctic White.
All new Mazda vehicles registered will enjoy 5 Years/100,000km Manufacturing Warranty and 3 Years/60,000km Free scheduled Maintenance (includes labour, parts, and lubricants).
The 5 Years Manufacturing Warranty and 3 Years Maintenance applies to all models except the BT-50 pickup.
