Yamaha is promoting the MT-07 as a versatile naked bike designed to bring fun, affordability and enjoyment back to the streets, from its deep torque through to the agile chassis.
The MT-07 has a 4 stroke, 689cc liquid cooled, 2-cylinder engine with fuel injection.
Equipped with a compact and lightweight chassis for agility and easy handling, the MT-07 is touted as an economical bike to use.
It’s priced at RM35,296 and is available at selected authorised Yamaha dealerships nationwide starting from mid-June. It is available in violet or yellow colours.
The other big bikes from Yamaha that are locally assembled are the XJ series (XJ6, XJ6 Diversion, XJ6 Diversion F) and the MT-09.
