In this case, it's the zany Russians of Garage 54 YouTube channel who have pieced together the body of the first-generation Boxster into a Lada, which packs an 800cc turbo engine and drum brakes to boot.
The video shows them test driving the car and while it looks like its been put together with spit and bubble-gum, it works for the most part.
