2019 CarSifu Auto Show: A look at luxury

KUALA LUMPUR: No matter the age or income bracket, its hard not to be attracted to premium and luxury cars such as BMW and Volvo, the two participating brands at the 2019 CarSifu Auto Show which is being held at the Ground Floor Concourse, Mid Valley Megamall.


German marque BMW is showcasing its newly launched BMW 3 Series, the 330i M Sport, and visitors to the Auto Show can't help but check the car out.

Among them was 23-year-old Indran who looked impressed once he sat behind the wheel.

"This is a young man's car and it looks really good inside and out," said Indran when asked about the new 3 Series which is fully imported.


Swedish marque Volvo is also receiving a lot of attention from visitors which is showing off its luxury sedan, the S90 T5 as well as the XC90 and XC60 SUVs.

Volvo is giving the premium treatment as personal appointments can be made for test drives and they can either pick you up at your preferred location if one can't make it to the showroom.

If you are in the market for a good deal on sedans then do visit Honda which has the Honda City V variant and Proton which has the Proton Saga CVT Premium on display.

Both cars come with a RM3,000 discount.

There are also rugged pick-up trucks at the Auto Show such as the Mitsubishi Triton VGT Adventure X which features the award-winning 2.4-litre MIVEC turbodiesel engine.

Be among the first 1,000 customers to register the new Triton and you will receive an exclusive limited edition Thule Subterra Luggage worth RM2,000.

The Mitsubishi 2.0L Outlander SUV is also on display at the Auto Show.

Meanwhile, Ford is offering a cash rebate of up to RM6,000 the for Ranger Wildtrak and those who book the Ranger Raptor will receive an exclusive limited edition Ranger Raptor bomber jacket and car air purifier.

Isuzu has its line-up of D-Max trucks including a new Z Prestige variant which has new design cues as well as two accessory packages.

There are 20 vehicles on display at the 2019 CarSifu Auto Show which runs from today till Sunday, 10am to 10pm and other participating brands include Subaru with the Forester mid-sized five-seater SUV and the popular XV crossover, and Nissan has the X-Trail Hybrid and a sporty-looking Serena J Impul MPV.
