The Porsche brand ambassador was not going to be stopped from getting behind the steering wheel herself and driving the 550bhp gran turismo to a photo shoot and press roundtable.
The Panamera Turbo which unites the performance of a true sports car with the comfort of a luxury limousine, recently set a new record of 7:38 minutes for a four door car around the legendary Nurburgring North Loop.
"In climbing to the top of the world rankings and winning the US Open, Angelique Kerber has written sports history,” said Porsche chairman Oliver Blume.
“She’s a fantastic sportswoman and a role model that young people can base themselves on. We are proud of our brand ambassador.”
