Aston Martin Residences starts ascent in Miami

By CARSIFU | 7 August 2019

MIAMI: You may recall CarSifu writing back in 2016 about Aston Martin being the first car maker to team up with a property developer to create a luxury condo branded with its name.

Well, here's an update. The foundation works are done and the building here is starting to take shape.

Half of the luxury apartments have already been sold ahead of the 2022 completion. Ranging in size from 700 to 19,000 square feet, the luxury residences and penthouses are priced from US$750,000 to upwards of US$50 million (RM3.1mil to RM210mil) .

The new development at 300 Biscayne Boulevard Way in downtown Miami broke ground in late 2017 and since then the painstaking work of creating the foundations for the 818-foot condominium tower has taken place.

On June 30, a huge concrete pour was completed, distributing the 26,000 tonnes of concrete that would create the necessary base to sustain the 66-storey tower.

Aston Martin’s design team are designing the amenity spaces throughout the building, led by EVP and chief creative officer, Marek Reichman. He said: “One of the greatest joys of design is seeing your work come to life. As this is Aston Martin’s first foray into real estate, we are especially keen to see the tower start to take shape.”

“Very soon, we will complete the ground floor and we expect the first floor to be in place by the end of August," said G&G Business Developments CEO German Coto.

"By Christmas, we expect to have eight floors completed and from there the only way is up until we reach the 66th floor!”
