KUALA LUMPUR: The retail price of RON97 petrol will go down by two sen per litre while prices for RON95 petrol and diesel remain unchanged.
RON97 will now retail at RM2.72 per litre, down from RM2.74 previously, while RON95 petrol and diesel stay at RM2.05 and RM2.15 per litre respectively from Aug 26 to Sept 1.
The Finance Ministry, in a statement today, said the prices were set based on the weekly retail prices of petroleum products using the Automatic Pricing Mechanism.
