SHANGHAI: MINI is giving its Clubman a minor facelift. The latest update on the compact estate car, going on show at the Auto Shanghai trade fair will go to market in the coming months, the manufacturer says.

You may have to lean in close and squint your eyes, but you'll spot the updates above all in the front section, where there's a new grille and modified LED headlamps with matrix light on request.

In addition, the Clubman now comes as standard with LED technology at the rear and the familiar British flag design can also be ordered for the rear lights.

Also new are the design of the rims and other components in a piano finish.

The British BMW subsidiary is fitting the new Clubman in a range of three petrol and three diesel engines, which cover a power spectrum from 102 to 192 horsepower, hitting consumption values between 4.0 litres of diesel and 6.5 litres of petrol (105 to 147 g/km CO2).
