The new Magotan has a long wheelbase as it is aimed at those who want a chauffeur-driven limousine.
Made in China for the Chinese market, the new Magotan will have three powerful TSI engines (150PS, 180PS and 220PS).
The engines over 180 PS are equipped with a dual-clutch gearbox (DSG) as standard.
Based on the Volkswagen Group’s modular transverse matrix (MQB), the new Magotan also features a plethora of cutting-edge driver assistance and convenience systems.
These include the Proactive Occupant Protection System, the Front Assist ambient traffic monitoring system with City Emergency Braking function, the Side Assist lane change assistant and the Lane Assist lane departure warning system.
