LONDON: Bentley will announce a fifth model to join its portfolio of luxury cars in what many in the motoring press believe is a long wheelbase Bentayga.
The debut will take place at 12:30 BST (7.30pm in Malaysia) on May 10.
The Bentayga accounts for 40% of Bentley sales in 2021 so the luxury automaker will want to milk the product for all its worth. And it has the potential to be an extra long SUV with 4 seats that will be sumptuously appointed.
No word on the engines to be used but Bentley is now using a 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged W12, a 4.0-litre V8 and a 3.0-litre turbocharged hybrid.
The new model could use one or even all three mill configurations to give its deep-pocket customers more options.
Bentley said the new model promises "an extra dimension of on-board wellness" and that it would "sit in sumptuous comfort at the pinnacle of its range and deliver a breadth of capabilities beyond anything previously offered."
