Bermaz bolsters skilled workforce, 126 graduate from Mazda Training Centre

SHAH ALAM: Bermaz Motor, the exclusive distributor of Mazda vehicles and spare parts in Malaysia, has announced the graduation of 126 students from its Mazda Training Centre (MTC).

There were 26 who graduated from the Mazda Apprenticeship Progam, 51 from the Mazda Mechanic Program and another 49 from the Body and Paint Program.

The objective of such programmes was to develop a skilled workforce to meet the expanding Mazda service network.

The MTC was established to provide technical and vocational education and training programmes.

These programmes have been certified by Jabatan Kemahiran Malaysia, Institue of Motor Industry UK and Mazda Motor Corporation as one of the accreditation centres for being a motor vehicle mechanic training provider.

Upon graduation, students are guaranteed an opportunity to be employed as a professional technician within the company's after-sales network.

The programmes utilise a combination of an endorsed motor vehicle mechanic syllabus and the Mazda Master Program.

Practical training revolves around the Japanese carmaker's SkyActiv technology and tools used.
