Bieber says sorry after he knocks Instagram star's custom BMW

LOS ANGELES: If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all. Good advice there but it just went over Justin Bieber's head.

The singer had to apologise to 15-year-old Instagram vlogger Jojo Siwa after condemning the looks of her custom BMW 4 Series Convertible.

The open-top car was draped in pastel images of her and the words “Nickelodeon’s JoJo Siwa D.R.E.A.M. The Tour”. It was customised by West Coast Customer.

This is what Bieber said when confronted with the image of the car: “Burn it, Burn it.”

JoJo’s mum jumped to her defence, and told off Bieber: "@justingbierber burn your own things," along with a laughing crying emoji.

Bieber issued an apology on Sunday and tweeted: "@itsjojosiwa I have nothing against you it was the car and the colors I didn’t like I really hope you didn’t think it was malicious or mean-spirited."

The young vlogger with 7.6 million followers responded by posing with a cardboard cutout of Bieber in her car.

The caption read "burn it", a tongue-in-cheek retort to Bieber's comment.

Siwa's full name is Joelle Joanie "JoJo" Siwa.

She performed for two seasons on Dance Moms along with her mother, Jessalynn Siwa, and is notable for her singles "Boomerang" and "Kid in a Candy Store".

Siwa is known for for wearing big, colourful bows in her hair and used her fame to sell a line of JoJo's Bows to young girls.

Other merchandising ventures she has gone into include children's books, bedroom decor, a lookalike doll and other accessories.
