Occupying space of up to 1,383 square feet on the first floor of the Auto Bavaria dealership, the new i showroom features the newest brand identity, furniture and fittings for the i brand. The space also displays a unit of the RM1.1mil i8, a plug-in hybrid sports car with the i Wallbox charger.
BMW has an i3 electric car, which it is not selling in Malaysia. It is also expected to announce a third i model in future that is positioned between the i3 and i8.
Auto Bavaria managing director Jeffrey Gan said the i dealership would help it better serve i customers in Malaysia as well as help BMW enthusiasts and fans get closer to the brand.
Gan said the i centre would offer service and maintenance as well as vehicle repairs and on the road assistance with a dedicated mobile charging service for owners.
The showroom was opened by BMW Group Malaysia managing director and CEO Alan Harris.
The i dealership is located at 362, Jalan Tun Razak, 50400 Kuala Lumpur.
