British start-up Riversimple teases its first hydrogen-fuelled car

LONDON: British start-up Riversimple has released a teaser shot of the engineering prototype of its first hydrogen-powered road car which will be revealed on Feb 17.

Riversimple is a consortium member of SWARM (Demonstration of Small 4-wheel fuel cell passenger vehicle Applications in Regional and Municipal transport). SWARM has received research funding from the European Union.

According to Wikipedia, Riversimple designs energy-efficient automobiles, including the Morgan LIFEcar and the Riversimple Urban Car.

This Wales-based outfit declares its goal is to offer "mobility at zero cost to the planet." It is headquarterd in Llandrindod Wells, about 200km northwest of here.
