Featuring six left-hand corners, 11 right-handers and six straight aways throughout the 4.57km route, this is where the Chiron Pur Sport showed off its prowess to journalists and customers.
Engineers from the French high-performance luxury automobile manufacturer and a subsidiary of Volkswagen AG were able to tweak the Chiron Pur Sport with added agility, handling and driving performance.
The 8.0-litre quad-turbo W16 engine with 1,500PS and 1,600Nm of torque is now able to rev 200rpm higher compared to the stock engine.
Power is managed by a revised gearbox that has been equipped with 15%-shorter gear ratios.
This allows the Italian hypercar to sprint from 0 to 100kph in 2.3 seconds - 0.1 seconds faster than the stock Chiron.
Racing from 0 to 200kph will only take a mere 5.5 seconds instead of the usual 6.1 seconds and the 300kph mark will only take 12 seconds from standstill over the usual 13.1 seconds.
Bugatti says that it took them more than 18 months with over 50,000km of testing to get it where it is.
The result is "more" in terms of grip due to mechanical and aerodynamic improvements for added agility in lateral acceleration.
Limited to just 60 units worldwide, the Chiron Pur Sport is being built in Molsheim, France and has been priced at 3.0mil euros (RM14.8mil).
“The technical specifications are far more than just numbers. Bugatti customers need to experience them to fully understand the incredible acceleration force," said Bugatti president Stephan Winkelmann.
“Customers absolutely must experience this unbelievable power and lateral dynamics on a race track. However, it is not designed just as a pure race car, it offers a great deal of comfort, luxury and everyday usability alongside its tremendous power," added Winkelmann.
