Customers who buy a Nissan car from Edaran Tan Chong Motor Sdn Bhd stand a chance to win a holiday trip to Croatia, one of the locations where the upcoming Star Wars flick was filmed.
Themed "The Journey Continues with Nissan", Edaran Tan Chong Motor will be launching the campaign with Star Wars-themed vehicles at a Malaysian Automotive Institute auto show at Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang, Serdang from Nov 9-12. Star Wars: The Last Jedi will open in Malaysian cinemas on Dec 14.
The local campaign launch would be followed by a series of TV and radio commercials, roadshows and test-drive events.
During the campaign period, the distributor is offering rebates of up to RM6,500 for selected models, plus the continuation of the RM1 promotion for accessory package.
The local campaign is a collaboration between Nissan and The Walt Disney Company Malaysia, which owns Lucasfilm, the production company that created the Star Wars franchise.
