Car carrier trailer crash causes massive jam

PETALING JAYA: An accident involving a car carrier trailer has caused a massive traffic jam along the North-South Expressway at KM421.7 from Bukit Tagar to Bukit Beruntung.

According to the PLUS Expressway Twitter account @plustrafik Tuesday, a contra lane has been opened to ease congestion.

To avoid the congestion, the alternative route is through Tanjong Malim.

The condition of the car carrier trailer driver is unknown.

In other traffic-related news, Star Traffic reported an accident along the Subang airport road at 4.13pm that is causing delays from Citta Mall.

In Kuala Lumpur, traffic is reported to be slow along Jalan Tuanku Abdul Halim from Semantan towards the Duta tunnel. Traffic is also slow on Jalan Tun Razak from Ampang Park towards the RHB building.

Congestion along the Federal Highway has also been reported from the Jalan Templer intersection to the LDP interchange, while the Kesas Highway is backed up from Seafield to Hicom.
