CarSifu Auto Show 2017 Book & Win Prize winning ceremony

PETALING JAYA: Three lucky winners from the CarSifu Auto Show 2017 Book & Win contest were announced last week at the prize giving ceremony held at Menara Star.

The contest featured prizes worth a total of RM19,000 and the winners were selected from visitors who booked a new car at the CarSifu Auto Show at Mid Valley Megamall, Kuala Lumpur which was held from Oct 25 to Oct 29, 2017.

The grand prize winner of the Book & Win contest was Toh Wai Hong who walked away with a 65-inch Aquos HD television while second prize went to Anita Leong who took home a a 60-inch Aquos HD television and finally, Ng Sim Fah with a 50-inch Aquos HD television.

Grand prize winner Toh, who booked a Honda CR-V, was happy with his new television set.

“Actually I have a big television set at home so I’m probably going to end up giving it to my in-laws,” he said.

The other winners, Leong and Ng, both booked the Renault Captur crossover at the CarSifu Auto Show 2017.

Leong didn’t think much about winning the contest as she was literally mesmerised by the Renault Captur.

“I booked the Renault straight away just after looking at it. I didn’t even test drive the car, I just liked it so much,” said Leong.

Ng was also surprised at winning the Book & Win contest.

“I just put my name down for the contest but the main reason I was at the Auto Show was to book a car. I was completely surprised when I learned that I was one of the winners,” said Ng.

The prizes were handed to the winners by Star Media Group, assistant general manager, Autos, Paul Chin.

Also present at the ceremony were BHPetrol, brand manager, Rohaila Razali, Silverstone media manager, Carmen Yap.

Besides the Sharp HD television prizes, another 10 people received the consolation prize of Sharp car ion generators.

The auto show, organised by Star Media Group and, featured thirteen car brands such as Honda, Mazda, Toyota, Isuzu, Volvo, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Infiniti, Kia, Renault, Peugeot, Citroen and Proton and a total of 28 cars were displayed.
