Only 4 variants are offered and they are all front-wheel driven. The 4-wheel drive version available in the fully imported batches has been axed.
The latest X70, built at Proton's Tanjung Malim plant, is priced at RM94,800 (Standard); RM106,800 (Executive); RM119,800 (Premium); and RM122,800 (Premium X).
Sabahans and Sarawakians enjoy the same prices as their peninsula peers.
As expected, the CKD prices of the X70 are lower than before but Proton has gone further by enriching the feature set, making the SUV even more attractive.
The X70 offers value-added packages of up to RM12,540. Prices have been reduced by RM1,000 to RM5,000, depending on variants when compared to the corresponding CBU variants previously.
